Day Trading under $25k...

Quote from samuritrader:

alliance and alldaytrader are the same people

how do you know the domains expire in one year?

Is that normal? don't people have to pay a yearly price for their domain??

Check out www.register.com. The "whois" search feature.

They have financials back to 2001 so I don't know what to make about the domain name registration. I would like to think that when registering a domain, you would do it for more than at year at signup - even if was just to make it cheaper for yourself.

May mean nothing. I e-mailed them - will see what they say next week.

Great work, Samuritrader.
I emailed Alliance for name of who insures individual investor accounts. Will post.
If you click on their website links and select RealFastTrader, you'll see that their Free Level 2 Simulator logo is identical to Alliance. Will ask about that.

Point is, if they have reputable connections, like with some solid U.S. companies, it could be more reason to give them a try.

I'm starting to think that

If the csfb thing is true, they can't be that shady

everyone of the companies they list are solid companies not fly by night places

I used the demo on the software a week ago, it seemed to work pretty nice

Please show me the link that states "Alliance's" affiliation with CSFB. I really think you are hallucinating.

Earlier this year, local investment firm, Alliance Investment Management headed by Peter Chin struck a fee sharing strategic partnership with international investment house Credite Suisse First Boston.

The deal allows trading stations placed at Alliance Investment offices with online trading accounts. Clients can track stocks listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ and other major stock exchanges. One can now trade by phone through financial advisors or online via the Internet
