Day Trading to Multimillionairedom

What comes to your mind when someone tells you that he/she is a day-trader? I immediately know that I am dealing with a clueless amateur, no offence.
....
You're the one making the claim. YOU back it up YOUR claim.

John Taffer should ask customers to boycott any bar that charges $5 (or more) for a bottle of Bud (an outrageous 1 000% markup!).

While on a trip to Norway (Stavanger): A draft beer at any pub will set you back $25 dollars! Per pint!

It's not that day trading for a living is all that difficult, the difficulty lies in the substantial work both technically and personally required to become proficient in a demanding profession. Doing a root canal is not that difficult for a dentist but that dentist got a Bachelor in Science, Graduated from an accredited school of dentistry and passed exams, received certifications and licenses before he or she could do a root canal.

Yet scores of people have read a handful of books, attended a seminar or two and viewed some "guru" videos on YouTube and think they can fund an account and trade? It takes most of years before we can trade with consistent profitability. I've been asked if I knew how long it would take and how expensive it would be would I have even started. I don't know the answer but I don't believe in regrets, it is what is is and am happy to be where I am. The main difference between myself and others like me and the scores of those who have fallen by the wayside is we didn't quit.

Good points. If it was difficult for us, just imagine this new generation growing up on social media and video games (and shitty music), and expecting instant gratification/results.

Do they know what is to work for a decade, in order to see the full fruits of your labor, like a Japanese prisoner of war, with an obsession? Not in a million years...

My advice is:

Become a Veterinarian (ANYTHING is easier than trading). You get to play with puppies and cats all day, people respect you, and if you fuck up and kill someone's pet during surgery, it's not like you killed their mother. You can get over it.

NORWAY. It's retarded. I was BASE jumping in Kjerag. As soon as people knew someone was flying in, they made the guy buy the world in Duty-Free. Yes, $20-$25 dollars per pint, at a regular bar (NOT a fancy place). This is the "normal" price...

I checked the site. But no. I am pretty sure, as I rang a tab. It could also be because we were in a very remote area in Kjerag, and it was the ONLY pub there. But $20 for sure.

$57 dollars for THREE BEERS. Confirmed...

"The tab for the three beers: $57. Needless to say, I headed for a store the next day to check out retail prices. I noticed that they mostly sell beer individually, not per six-pack. It is because buying a six-pack would bankrupt you."

PS. @Blaze Day-trading paid for the above mentioned trip (helicopters, and everything)... ;)

Buy a plane ticket, come to Brussels, I will pick you up. Take a seat next to me and watch how I make money 'daytrading' day in, day out.

I do come to Brussels quite a lot for my business. I don't need a ride, but I will be happy to buy you a beer in front of a "carbonade", if you show me how you do it. I will gladly show you how I do it, in return.
Best!
