day trading non US stock markets

Is it possible to day trade any other equity markets besides US. I looked at the FTSE and it seems that the sheer price of the stocks makes it very hard. I also hear that commissions and fees are very high. Hang Sang looks like it has amazing volume and moves but I need to know about commissions. Can anyone help?
 
US is more liquid and has less commissions, also has more information tools on the web for trading it, plus software and backtesting is much easier with US markets. just hedge your dollar exposure if your sick of losing money
 
Actually here is what I am looking for. My style is all centered around the opening and it works pretty well in the us market. I would like to find another opening to trade
