Day trading is for suckers?

Joke's on you because I'm a millennial and I don't do anything well.

I just mean that I can see it happening. I'm a big proponent of multiple streams of income because it has saved my ass many times. So it's entirely possible that they make a few K/month from trading, a few K/month from something else... Add up enough "something else" and you're making serious dough.

One major stumbling block for new traders is confidence that it can be done. Naturally, we are sceptical. Then you have people who tried and failed who "know for a fact" it can't be done. Add to that fake educators and mis-educators sending conflicting messages.

And you know that this guy is not a fake educator... how?

I gurantee you there were people who blew up on that day fading guys like him. He trades the way many prop traders do. It's up to you to decide if this style suits you, but it's legit.

For a guy who can't possibly have any idea of what's true in that video, you're sure giving out a lot of guarantees and assured statements. How come you haven't put any serious money behind those? You know... invest in his course and show some reliable third-party trade records of your trading? Not bullshit screenshots that anyone can make up, but solid proof. The kind of thing he's NOT doing.

Until either you or he does that, it's nothing more than marketing fluff that takes in the naive. That, I'll grant you, he is successful at.

He is running a chat room. I think we are in a new era of trading education. Yeah, you need to figure out for yourself who is fake and who is not. All of the above points people can argue, but does anyone argue that this was not a trade done in real time?

It's called PLAYBACK. Several plats - I believe ToS is one of them - have it.

Find a spike in the past, roll the clock back, put on your "trade", then play it and record it.

With suitable "oh my god! oh my god!" squealing thrown in for effect, of course.

He has live subscribers watching him daily. I'm not one of them so can't be sure, but highly unlikely it's made up. BTW, level2 is not from TOS.
I said same thing about Warrior Trading and he has audited statements and Robert confirmed his statements ... but people still don't believe it. I don't care either way, I'm just trying to filter through people which I believe are legit online educators (by legit I mean are actually trading and have something valuable to teach). I have nothing to gain from this.

Someone on Twitter suggested that the reason these guys make money is a self-fulfilling prophecy: their viewers/listeners follow them on the trade, boosting their returns.

It's plausible.

Absolutely not the case in this particular trade. The stock was in play and moving crazy fast with volume. The only way to make money on this trade was either skill or, as others suggest, replay.

But you're not trying to filter; that's the point. You're making positive assertions. Trying to filter does not start with "I BELIEVE; now convince me I'm wrong!" - it starts with "I don't know; let's see which way actual evidence points."

And then, once you've made up your mind, you actually put some moxie behind it. You know... money. Effort. Time.

Posting about it, especially in a forum where - according to you - most people disagree and then trying to "fight" their opinions with yours has nothing to do with actual discovery of truth or accuracy.
