29 Jul US session

Last Thu ECB news announcement.
major movers were
US, Italy, Germany bonds
dax & US indices
gold, platinum


Since then, market has been rather quiet.


Major movers so far :
Hangseng,
India Nifty
Italy btp,
gbp



as usual, Eur might try to break the record, and achieve smallest day range.
 
30 Jul summary

early Asian session - market was rather lifeless

early Eur session - major movers were India Nifty, Dax, NQ, copper

NQ copper moved most likely due to dax

early US session - major mover was Russell 2000. market was quite lifeless.

simsci month end / roll over or whatever trading

as mentioned earlier, the behaviour during this period could be rather predictable.

other than that, today asian session might be rather dead unless there is some major trigger / news

Germany fgbx bond, US XUB
gold

NQ ES and many other index futures
India Nifty
crude oil

today XUB moved massively during Eur session. This is very rare.
max profit ~$2k / lot.

5 Aug asian session

Major movers so far:
Hangseng , NQ,
gold, yuan,
to some extend copper, China A50 and simsci.


Yuan volume at SGX & HKFE exchanges still rather low. so not that great for trading.

few days ago, US bond XUB moved massively during Eur session.

Today XUB moved massively during Asian session. This is extremely rare.
Germany buxl also up massively.
of course we can't trade due to its very low volume outside RTH

Now the earth is spinning very fast.
have to be alert 24x7.

OK. let's see how India Nifty is going to do.

big oil traders still not around.

5 Aug Eur & US session

After massive move during Asian session, what are the Europeans and Americans going to do?

as usual, 3 possibilities :
- trend continuation
- trend reversal
- markets will sleep
- various combination of the above


No way to tell. Just wait and see and react accordingly.

things to focus :
Asian Eur US index futures
gold,
US bond xub, Germany bond buxl



market movement would be very jerky spiky and at times chaotic
ie there will be lots of landmines.
good entry price very important.
selection of trendy futures is extremely important.
Stop Loss has to be increased to prevent Stopped Out.

there might be hundreds of good signals and
thousands of fake signals coming up.

so ability to choose which order to use is important.
market order (chase after the market!)
limit order
stop order

6 Aug Abundance Day #2, Eur session


what happened during Asian session
- NQ, Nikkei, hangseng, Taiwan index, dax .... up massively
- gold down and oil up due to index up
- US xub and german buxl (smart move by Eurex to open the exchange earlier) down

as of now, seems like market has found its comfort zone.
next few hours, market might not move.
well. things might change anytime.
