Day trading derivatives futures.

Germany bund might break the record high of 169 soon.
Interestingly Germany bund has been going higher and higher and higher over the last 30 years.

eur and gbp also trying to break the record and achieve smallest day range.

Hi maxinger,
Could you go into a bit of detail about your daily process? You sometimes mention that you missed a signal, how are you generating these signals? Thanks for the resource, just found this but enjoying / learning from it. Cheers

16 May US session

US index futures were up during eur session and when US market just opened.

commodities, USD - more or less sleeping.

ok. time to seriously consider archiving my remainder currency charts Eur and Ggp. currencies are too stable; no currency war, only trade war.
Which exchange shall I add?

Currently I am trading products from these exchanges :
CME, SGX, HKFE, eurex

Exchanges which I have stopped trading :
BMD, TSE

Exchanges to consider adding:
ICE Futures Europe, NYSE LIFFE, DGCX, KRX

Before session starts, I look at all the charts.
I look at past few hours / minutes and sense the market temperature / emotion / temperament.
I read the news headlines with a pinch of salt.
(Most news are garbage / misleading / distracting / very late. so be careful).
At times, I want my thoughts to be very clear. And that's where I post it in ET.

signals ? It is all based on visual.
Some traders anticipate (or predict) signals. I don't do that.

During trading session, I glue myself to the monitors.
Then concentrate and concentrate and wait for signals.
At times, I missed good signal due to lack of concentration,
or because the market movement is too chaotic erratic messy spiky.
I want to avoid trading chaotic erratic messy spiky because it is very
difficult to earn money trading such market.
After entering trade, I might go away and exercise or do some chores.

17 May US session

what happened so far ...

most Asian dax US index futures down.
India Nifty up due to whatever reason.
so come US session US index futures will
- continue to go down
- reverse to go up
- sleep
Only powerful crystal ball can predict the future.

as usual, commodities and currencies are sleeping or laggards.

20 May end Asian / Early Eur session
what happened so far...

NQ up
Then Simsci up
Then China A50 and Hangseng down
Then India Nifty reverse down (after it gapped up massi vely)
Then India Nifty reverse up

well. Let's see if Eur will beat its record again.

BTC - long bottom tail on 17 May 19 & day range 1670 pts.
Major down and reverse up movement on 17 May occurred during Asian session.

Today it gapped up during Asian session.
anyway not worth trading BTC. there are many other better things to trade.

India Nifty continue to go up.
Most index futures & oil down.

archived my Eur chart. First time in my life I archive eur chart.
Those who traded eur only might be weeping and gnashing their teeth.

who knows, next to archive might be gbp.
If I archive gbp, that means zero currency chart in my main display chart.

21 May Asian session

what happened to US index futures yesterday?
It went down massively during Eur session.
Come US session, there was only a little meat with some skins and bones and insides left.

India Nifty up massively.
