Day trading derivatives futures.

You need Trump to violently move the markets. He's nappy time now, with cheeseburgers all over his chest, while whores pee in his nose.

Any excitement you see will be residual activity. Wait for tomorrow if none of his team give us info on the trade talk progress tonight
 
10 May mid Asian session

hmmm. wonder who are those traders who traded US index futures heavily
during asian time.
Today is especially unique.

what happened so far ...

US index futures up 758a.
US index futures down ~830a ( but impossible to catch this swing).

asian index futures up ~900a.

US and Asian index futures down ~1025a.

US and Asian index futures up ~ 1124a (but impossible to catch this swing).


hmmm. Time to increase stop loss by 2 or even 3 times.
The 'experts' said make you stop loss small !!!
WHAT experts !!!

OK. now India Nifty. most likely it will be laggard.

NQ during Asian session.

In this nice chart, there are some land mines.
There are also tons of opportunities.
the range is extremely good.
In fact, its trendiness is better than during US session.

what happened so far...

NQ , Hangseng , China A50 continue to swing up swing down.

eur ( and gold? ) might break the record today and achieve smallest day range.

ok. my bracket orders with increased stop loss have been updated.
 
13 May Asian session

US index gapped down just now.
Last Fri, only index futures moved &
commodities, currencies, bonds not moving.

fine tuned by main display charts.
Archieved charts like jpy, aud, NG.
Because they moved once in a blue moon & most
of the time, they sleep.
 
13 may US session

index futures moving rather decisively.

added corn and soya futures into my main display charts since
I have removed non moving jpy and aud futures.
corn and soya futures are rather trendy today.
they started to go down during today Asian session.
anyway I missed the signal.

14 May Asian session

Nikkei and NQ buddy together. quite nice up trend.
Star performer - China A50. nice trendy up trend ie
very easy to trade and earn $$$.

commodities (oil, gold, copper) all sleeping.
Hangseng - half asleep.

OK. Let's see what is India Nifty going to do.

14 may US session

movers so far :

China A50, India Nifty
and to some extent NQ and crude oil.

Many times India Nifty has the habit of moving towards end session.

NQ moved alot yesterday.
and it moved today during Asian session.
It appears NQ badly need to take a rest during this US session
ie no meat, no skin, no bone, no insides left.
well. things might change anytime.
 
15 May Asian session

what happened recently

NQ 13 May day range 250 pts

NQ 14 May day range 170 pts which is very big.
However, NQ movement (and many other index futures) was generally up but was very messy jerky spiky chaotic with thousands of landmines here and there. Those who longed NQ on 14 May Asian time should be very happy.
Very difficult to day trade during US session (and very easy to trade China A50 during the Asian session).
Luckily I stopped trading very early.


Chinese Reminbi - getting higher and higher. Now at 6.9.
but volume traded is still very low.

15 May Eur session

hmmm. perhaps I should also archive EUR and GBP charts too.
They are trying to beat the record, and achieve the smallest day range.
Currencies are getting far too stable.
There is trade war, no currency war.
For those who trade forex only, there might be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Time to look for greener pasture.
Have to start looking for other exchanges to trade.



most index futures down during Eur session perhaps due to Germany GDP Data release.
Germany buxl was up.
