17 jul Asian session

yesterday super star performers go to heating oil, RB gasoline, crude oil.
yesterday day range :
heating oil - 4.1%
RB gasoline - 5.0%
crude oil - 4.8%
as usual, chart typically lead the news.

yesterday most asian index futures, Russell 2000, NQ day range quite healthy.
yesterday USD not much movement.

today seems to be quite a quiet day but still there are quite a few good signals :

CN HS down 938a
IN up 1150a
IN reverse down 1225p

gold up 158p
nq down 128p
energy down 145p
IN up 315p
energy reverse up 330p
Italy btp up 618p<<<< star performer
gbp down 754p<<<< star performer


so far ES YM appear to be sleeping, and RTY NQ more active;
quite similar behaviour for the past 2 days.

today asian session - no good signal.
Such situation is extremely extremely rare.

yesterday eur gbp gold long red candle.
german buxl - inside day. yesterday small day range.
italy btp - yesterday long blue candle due to some news.
yesterday NQ and to some extent dax long blue candle.
HO RB crude oil - day range shrinking.

hmmm. it doesn't seem to look good. anyway better be alert.
If no signal 2 hours after market opens, then I'd better go exercise again.

HO RB crude oil - not moving. waiting for inventory news?

index futures - looks rather scary. it might sleep again.
anyway will be alert and stop trading within 1 hr if market looks not promising.

hangseng movement was terrible. those bulls and bears were out of control.


shorted India Nifty @1156am. What happened to India yesterday? It went down quite alot.

hmmm. USD getting stronger.
eur gbp gold copper down.
copper down since 932am today <<<<< super star performer and it's leading the way. Great job copper.
wonder why copper dropped so much.
anyway chart generally leads the news.


german buxl - day range has been big.
day chart shows it is ranging.
I doubt italy and german bonds are going to move today.
today is USD day

Later let's see if the Europeans are keen to push up crude oil price or not.
hmmm. Natural Gas still sleeping.
later soya export sales data?

italy and germany bonds, dax have been very quiet.

eur gbp gold copper energy already down.
Is energy going to reverse up? no idea.

es ym rty nq already down since asian session due to whatever reason.
is it going to reverse to go up?
well. need to consult high accuracy crystal ball.
past 2 days, rty has been rather trendy and es ym nq very jerky and sluggish.

will watch out natural gas and soya too.
the last time NG had good day range was 6 months ago!

luckily I didn't read news about lots of oil inventory nonsense.
too much lousy hopeless erroneous news nowadays.
now the news reporter is going to change the tune, change the story line
and probably say too little oil inventory.
