@maxinger do you notice differences / make adjustments to your trading, during summer trading's lighter volume?

yesterday's London & US open showed more chop on 6E, 6B & on all US index futures. while I do without ladders, I noticed RTY, YM, NQ n ES' volatility increased. lots of overlapping hourly bars. feels v algo-ish

I don't bother about summer winter stuff.

on 27 Jun, eur gbp es ym rty nq all went down alot and decisively.
on 28 Jun, those financial instruments day range actually shrinked. movement became rather jerky and erratic but do note that day range has shrinked.

This is quite a typical market behaviour.
There are also cases where next day, market continue to go down significantly, or reverse to go up significantly.

So those who failed to profit on 27 Jun and attempt to trade on 28 Jun is asking for trouble.
 
2 jul Eur session

most asian index futures, es ym rty nq already down .
eur gbp already down probably due to index futures.
now focusing on DAX.

crude oil - already moved when market just opened. it appears to have found its comfort zone.

italy and germany bonds - day range has been good.
 
10 Jul Asian session

OK. let's see what to focus.

yesterday asian and US index futures up.
USD based currency/gold ... will not be trading these.

longed NQ @735am. note : 3 days long blue candles.
hmm. trade war -----> higher index futures?

quite a straight forward session so far.
eur gbp gold copper down (or USD up).

italy bond - will avoid.
soya - now in comfort zone?

index futures - Hangseng movement rather jerky though its range was huge. DAX is sleeping.
US index futures went up decisively during asian session. then went down jerkily.

Heating oil and rb gasoline - already up.
sigh .... very difficult to trade these due to its violent / jerky behaviour.
still got no idea how to trade such lunatic futures.

I meant to say they are the star performers during Eur session.
during this eur session, there are laggards like eur, gbp

most likely these moved due to US dollar strengthening.

NK gapped down.
soya not moving.

surely asian index futures will gap down.
will asian index futures close the gap? absolutely no idea.
I'd better reduce trading lot size during 1st hour of asian session.

sigh .... I brought HE chart out of my archive and I missed the signal yesterday.

This trade war is creating tons of opportunities.
There are simply thousands of signals everywhere.
Now let me see which other chart to bring out of my archive.
