hmmm. my last entry was months ago.
today super long candle :
eurex btp
eurex bund
eurex buxl
es ym rty NQ

quite long candle :
eurusd
gbpusd
dax

talk about eurex buxl. did it break the day range record?
probably not. record day range was in week of 1 jun 2016.


gold ? it went up but I wonder if its trend can be sustained.
it appears to be laggard.

sigh ... my 32" monitors portrait format still not tall enough.
perhaps I must paste the whole wall with monitors

Samsung has a a new 32" monitor U32H850, 3480X2760 resolution.
resolution is fantastic.
If I connect four 32" monitors to a computer, I doubt even with two graphic cards, it can't support these resolutions. Have to come up with alternative.


I wonder how the Americans are going to react later.
Trend might continue in the same direction,
or market might not move at all.

euro BTP might have found its comfort zone around 124.5
euro buxl and buxl - it formed long up tail.
well, based on these rather challenging for Americans to move these futures.

crude oil & heating oil - yesterday long red candle. it appears these oils want to take a rest today.

gold. no idea where it is going. 24 may long blue candle. so gold might want to take a rest.


ES YM RTY NQ, eur gbp today long red candle, then price retrace up.
during coming US session, it might not move but anyway, better keep an open mind.

ES YM RTY NQ Since end May, day range has been progressively getting smaller.
RTY still has healthy day range.
NQ trying to go down due to some stocks news ?

eur gbp gold - yesterday up during US time.
it seems to be resting now.

HO, RB Gasoline, crude oil - already went down probably in anticipation of coming inventory news.

eurex btp, buxl - already moved during european session.

copper - already went up during european session.

hmm. The Europeans have been working very hard.
seems like it is going to be a challenging US session.
anyway better be alert.

hmmm. many things moving.
most asian index (China, Hangseng, Sgp ) futures down.
es ym rty nq going down. let me hold position for many many hours.
DAX - never like to trade it. seems to be a laggard.

gold - trying to form close wedge?

hmm. wondering what's hapening to US index futures.
it has very long red candles.
I guess we will hear the news few hrs / a day or two later.

eurex buxl - nice ascending triangle formation.
time to long was GMT +8 , 3:54:30 pm.
simple text book answer to long buxl.
eurex bund same pattern as buxl.

gold - interestingly the way it move is similar to yesterday
(sluggish movement then explosive movement). Most likely it is the same big boys who traded yesterday and also today.
wondering who are those big boys.
Well, day chart shows it is ranging.

DAX - as of now, I don't like trading DAX unless fundamentals change; it is laggard.

ZB 10 years T bond starting to go up again? seems more like small boys longing ZB.

Good stuff.. I’ve got a stop out there positioning me long on zb, even though fundamentally I can only see the short side. The chart looks like it wants to go higher though. Limited rally?

Personally I don't like day trading ZB (and definitely ZN ZF ZT GE which have even smaller small range).
Day chart seems to show ZB is ranging.

I think those who trade ZB are fundamentalists,
or spread traders doing calender spreads, intermarket spreads, intramarket spreads or whatever.

market extremely quiet so far ie no major news / events over the weekend.
only small boys trading so far.

absolutely no idea which futures will move.

so just sit down and wait and wait and wait for distinct chart pattern.
based on historical, there should be at least one good signal over the next 2 hours.
