Day traders: How often do you do nothing all day?

I would not argue, but simply add '... losing expectation game for most'. That's a fairer comment.
 
I make about 50 trades a day. About 40K in volume. But I really only trade in the first 2 1/2 hours. Spend the rest of my day either researching, working on new stratigies, or playing Hold'em.
