No, nobody needs to trade with 300K, how big are your monthly expenses, cut back on things live a cheaper life an mate traded with that kinda money 3months till all gone!! ( sunk it into 1 company first trade, started dropping and held it all the way to Zero, not very smart )

Yes, I agree, not very smart. What is the average return on an account? 10%? 300K is on the low end, based on annualized returns.

I agree, cutting back on on expensive expenses is the way to go.

Before anyone even THINKS about daytrading should do the following:

1. Pay off the car note.
2. Pay off the mortgage.
3. Keep credit card balances low.

I'm up about 200%, 3K to 9K this year day trading Dax and NQ and hitting the leverage hard but stocks yeah 10% a lot of work to get to 10% mind, before and after trading hours.

1. £500 old nail of a Vectra 1.9cdti ( sold SAAB to make way for a BMW 530D soon mind )
2. Rent
3. No credit cards as self employeed and no credit available LOL

My monthly requirement is only $800 per month, still do a bit of IT on the side to stop the boredom well did, not 1 work call this month, eccckssss first time ever )
