early Asian market movers - zero

Mid-Asian market movers - China A50, Hangseng (China Trade data release)

early Eur market movers - omxs30, India nifty, gold

End Eur market movers - gold

early US market movers - Russell 2000


dead / calm market is no good for trading.

When is the storm coming?

I seldom trade currency futures although I have the charts displayed on the active workspace.
There are other better things to trade.


Let's say currency futures have 1X trading opportunities.
This is a rough estimate :


grains (corn, soy, wheat, rapeseed ...) - 0.3X

other agriculture products (rubber, palm oil) - 0.3X

meat (lean hog, cattle ) - 0.3X

major currency futures (aud eur gbp jpy ) - 1X

Long-term bonds - 1.25X

commodities (copper, oil, gold ) - 5X

index futures - 5X

exotic currency is a big no due to its poor liquidity.

wave1 - LME, Shanghai & Comex copper are down in tandem

wave 2 - Eur mid-session. Copper and crude oil are down in tandem

wave 3 - Before the US stock market opens. Copper, crude oil, and gold are down in tandem.

For precision entry, you use the finer resolution 35V chart.
