Day & Night trading Derivatives Futures

7 Oct Asian session - D day #1

The market died.
Not a good day for the day traders.

Will the Europeans revive the dead market?
Or will the NFEC news revive the market?

What’s your favorite market currently? If you had to choose only one market which would you choose?

Would be interesting to know considering how many you follow/trade.

my typical trading session:

early Asian session
early Eur session
end Eur session (1.5 hours before the US stock market opens)
early US session (I already stopped trading this session. age is catching up)

my favorite session changes with time.
For this week, the Asian session is the best;
The US is restricting semiconductor chips/equipment .... from
being shipped to China.
So Taiwan index, Hangseng, China A50 .... would move.

2 Nov Asian session
yawning-face_1f971.png

The market is waiting for the coming Fed announcement

1 Nov summary
good Intermarket correlation.
These futures moved in tandem :

hangseng, China A50

copper, oil, gold, euro, GBP, AUD (due to US$)

ZB, bund

dax, CAC40, ES ....

What US index futures volume charts to use?

take for example ES.

Asian session - I used a 200V volume chart during the Trump era.
Nowadays, ES hardly moves during the Asian session.

European session - I use 200V or 600V, depending on the
market condition

US session -
A few years ago, I used 600V only.

Lately, 600V is too small a volume.
So 2000V, or 5000V have to be used.
Time has changed.

Yesterday's US session.

ES volume chart - even 5000V is not enough.
Perhaps use 10000V chart ??!?!
But then, if we need to use such a huge volume,
better don't trade it.
