great session to trade :
16 Jun Asian and Eur session :
best index futures to trade -
all Asian/Eur/US index futures except Singapore MSCI, China A50

laggards are - copper, currencies like Eur Gbp, bonds,


sleepers are - gold, crude oil ....

the market is rather dead.

Asian & US index futures, commodities like oil/HG/NG, gold ... hardly moves.

calm before the storm?

Time to review the new MCA (started Oct 2021) vs CN


FTSE/XINHUA China A50 from SGX
symbol : CN
daily volume 200k
volume chart - use 500V


MSCI China A50 Connect Index from HKFE
symbol : MCA
daily volume 15K
volume chart - use 20V

MCA volume is much lower than CN.

bad news for the day traders.


day range is deteriorating.

Look at the hang seng day range (lower chart).
is can hardly go beyond 300 points / 1.5% (the red horizontal line).

When is the storm coming ?!?!

excellent Intermarket correlation

es nq rty ym moved in perfect tandem.

it correlated quite well with
dax, Hangseng, copper, crude oil, gold too.

9 Sept Asian session

China A50 Index future

it has been rather dead / deadly ... for the past 1 week;
it could hardly exceed 1% day range.

Today it might exceed 1.5% day range.


anyway ....


US index futures gapped up first (due to Fed speech).

And eur gbp aud copper crude oil gold ... went up (all USD based)

Then Hangseng, Chiina A50 went up

Good Intermarket correlation.
Nowadays, such opportunities are not so common.

Taiwan index
India Nifty
ZB ZN
Italy MIB, DJ stoxx50
Perhaps copper, crude oil

The rest are too spiky
