28 Feb Asian session

these futures gapped down :
index futures, major currencies

these futures gapped up :
crude oil, gold, bonds, NG

not a good sign for day traders actually.
It might take many hours before the trend is clear.

What I am waiting for is Intermarket correlations.
 
2 Mar Asian session

it is the commodities trading session.
crude oil, gold are moving.

time to adjust crude oil chart volume due to changing market conditions.
lower it down to say 60V.
stop-loss - to increase by 2X.

index futures - so far not much movement

strange ...
Shanghai INE crude oil chart froze.
Exchange problem? or traders froze?
or circuit breaker activated?

Nymex crude oil chart parameters :

60V and 150V,
max stop loss 20 to 30 ticks
only use market order for entry

something happening to Shanghai INE crude oil futures.
is it closed?

it was a mixture of trendy and choppy movement with quite a few landmines / false/fake signals

max max profit 1,950 ticks, equivalent to $19,500 / lot

decaying day range:

Chart lags terribly by about 10 seconds during today's Eur session.
such a problem happens once in a decade or two.


not unusual for it to happen during the US session.
It could lag for 20 minutes!!!


does it happen during the Asian session?
zero occurrences over the last 2 decades.


Anyway ...

best / most trendy Eur index futures for day trading are
omxs30, FTMIB, perhaps stoxx50

most choppy, worst Eur index futures for day trading are :
DAX, cac40


NYMEX crude oil day range
1 Mar - 1150 ticks
2 Mar - 730 ticks
3 Mar - 1000 ticks
4 Mar - 880 ticks
7 Mar ?
extremely extremely extremely healthy day range


Shanghai INE crude oil - most of the time, it was closed
because the circuit breaker was tripped.
They should allow greater amount of current to flow then
it wouldn't trip that easily.

9 Mar US session Freeze day # 3 trading

as usual, about 1.5 hours before the US stock market opens,
USD-based copper, crude oil, gold will move.

That is the time when the Europeans and Americans interact with each other.

mega movers :
hang Seng index futures (due to China tech stocks listing in the US?)
crude oil

and perhaps China A50, Taiwan Index

Hang Seng Tech Index futures - moves in tandem with Hang Seng index futures

Natural Gas - moves in tandem with crude oil.

Shanghai INE crude oil moves in tandem with Nymex crude oil

lately, US index futures hardly move during the Asian session

OK. let's see whether India Nifty will move massively later

Luckily no freeze.
if the delay is > 0.5 sec, you can't earn $$$ from such a market.

Today Hangseng signals.

it is an easy-to-trade day.
the reward : risk ratio is very good.

such a day is quite rare.
most of the time, the market is very choppy.
