I trade the early Asian session,
early Eur session,
end Eur/early US session,
about 2 hours each.


During the trading session, I watch the charts.

for the dead market, I'd trade shorter duration.

What US index futures volume charts to use?

take for example ES.


Asian session - I used a 200V volume chart during the Trump era.
Nowadays, ES hardly moves during the Asian session.

European session - I use 200V or 600V, depending on the
market condition


US session -
A few years ago, I used 600V only.

Lately, 600V is too small a volume.
So 2000V, or 5000V have to be used.
Time has changed.

Nowadays, the bull and bear are getting extremely old and weak.
It simply cannot move fast.

For the US session,
Even 5 000V for ES is too small.
Have to use 6 000V, or 7 000V.

For the European session,
600V should suffice.

For the Asian session,
don't bother to trade ES
unless Trump is back as president.
