True, someone is making market in 205ers.
But, why is this a problem for you?

Question to experienced DAX option traders:

What are the chances getting filled if you sit
in the middle of the bid-ask of an OTM (5-6 strikes
out from the current price)?

I think the Dax options have been relegated to the intern. Take a look when the market is off 120 points quickly, like on the google panic day, and you are looking for a market. The only rational market was myself on that day. Chances of getting filled splitting the bid/ask are very good. I usually shave it by one or two ticks.

1-2 ticks, you mean only 0.10-0.20?

I am trying to split a spread of 2.60 all day,
but the MM doesn't give in... and no liquidity is coming from others. I hate trading with a bookie!

I sell calls as the market rises and puts as the market falls. What strike and expiration are you looking at?

calendar put spread 5700 Sep/Dec.... to short it...

I see weekly expiries for the dax options have been introduced. Anybody trading these? Don't seem to have a market maker yet.
