David Duke: White Nationalist Rally Helps ‘Fulfill the Promises of Donald Trump’

Before all hell broke loose in Charlottesville, Virginia today at the ‘Unite the Right’ rally, thousands of white nationalists, neo-Nazis, alt-righters and white supremacists gathered on the streets for the since-canceled march. A morning after hundreds of white nationalists took part in a torch-lit march and chanted “white lives matter,” one of the most notorious white supremacists in the country celebrated what the rally represented.

And he invoked the president’s name while doing so.

While speaking to reporters this morning, a smiling David Duke made the following observation when asked what the rally meant to him:

“This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take this country back. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in. That’s why we voted for Donald Trump because he said he’s going to take our country back.”

The rally ended up being canceled by law enforcement due to violent clashes between the rally-goers and counter-protesters. After the governor of Virginia issued a state of emergency and called in the National Guard, a car plowed into a group of counter-demonstrators, causing an unknown number of injuries.

Fourth, fifth and sixth generation males from immigrant families are marching for white supremacy using Polynesian tiki torches made in Taiwan; purchased at Walmart, who imports 90% of inventory from China, while employing said white fifth or six generation descendants at poverty-level incomes -- while chanting Nazi slogans and demanding that they be treated with respect and employed without 'bootstrapping' and obtaining additional education.

Rubio , Cruz , Graham , Priebus , Ryan , McConnell will be the first ones to stab Trump in the back.

I agree with this. McCain of course should be at the head of the line.

Several republican senators were out with tweets last night attacking the victims of the Charlottesville riot. They are so desperate for media approval they will eagerly sell out their own constituents. I guess they expect the blacks, muslims and Hispanics will magically begin to vote for them in large numbers. I can't imagine why anyone else would.

McCain issued a passionate statement Saturday evening in response to the rally and the car attack.

"Our Founders fought a revolution for the idea that all men are created equal," his statement read. "The heirs of that revolution fought a Civil War to save our nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to that revolutionary proposition. Nothing less is at stake on the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia, where a violent attack has taken at least one American life and injured many others in a confrontation between our better angels and our worst demons."

"White supremacists and neo-Nazis are, by definition, opposed to American patriotism and the ideals that define us as a people and make our nation special," McCain continued. "As we mourn the tragedy that has occurred in Charlottesville, American patriots of all colors and creeds must come together to defy those who raise the flag of hatred and bigotry."
