Wow, talk about stupid... if you admit borrowers "are obviously to blame for their own mishaps," you can't deny the collective impact and blame of millions of irresponsible borrowers.
Quote from ElCubano:

no you seem to keep on missing the point....while borrowers are obviously to blame for taking on a loan they may have not been able to handle they ARE NOT to blame for this crisis, they are to blame for their own mishap...how stupid can you be homey?? seriously

the "collective impact" would not have occured had the Lenders not loaned out to people who could not pay it back. Can you get that through your pea brain.

Why was there not a "Collective Impact" when you had to put down 20% and proper documentation?...

shit back then people who worked, could prove their income and had 20% down had a tougher time getting a loan, then what we've seen in recent years.

you make it seem as though Borrowers conspired to undermine the Fianacial industry...hahahahaha what a dope...slap them with the RICO act...hahahahah

let's say it wasnt for a home it was a loan for a business..

and 100 entreprenuers set out to start a business....If the loan officer would loan all of them money and for one reason or another the business didn't succeed....who do you think would get fired dick for brains. Do you think the CEO would blame the borrowers or the loan officer??? cmon dick for brains help me out here with an answer...

Show me where I said lenders had no role or blame in this, dimwit.

YOU said borrowers "are obviously to blame for their own mishaps," so you can't deny the collective blame of millions of irresponsible borrowers. Not logically at least.

You can pretend it doesn't exist by trying to put the spotlight back on lenders but in the end you're contradicting yourself.

Speaking of stupid... only a total idiot would post this from their work computer. Or are you on welfare?
