I ask Datek about short list.
The answer is:
call our trading services department...
place the order and see if it is accepted...
This is a joke.
Can you please give some real info ?

When I used datek a couple years ago, they had an extensive short list. Basically any stock above $5, unless its an IPO or has a very high short interest, is shortable. Pull up a stock quote from your account home page. If the stock is marginable, then its shortable.
