* I do not make assumptions, I did put in the effort to go through the website:
* I quote:
Experience developing Windows applications. The QCollector Data Interface is language independent but you must be able to write code to send and receive Windows messages.
That is not considered an API but a very crude and almost painful way to connect to the QCollector Interface.
* I never claimed they do not provide tick data so not sure why you bring it up
* I also never claimed you cannot buy it. I claimed it has not been updated since 2011 and since then Esignal discontinued the API, it would give a lot more assurance if someone could confirm that it still works. You sound you are absolutely certain of that and I simply ask what makes you so confident.
Are you currently using it with Esignal? Does it work? Esignal said themselves (I chatted with them yesterday) that they do not provide any more API access to their servers. Why are you claiming a software application, that shows the last update from 2011 (which was when Esignal still offered the API), is still functional? Are you currently using it?
Thanks

Here is the API documentation http://www.mechtrading.com/developers/QCollectorDeveloperGuide_2.1.htm
You can access tickdata as well as any time interval you are interested in. You mentioned 1 minute bars.
