I have been having this problem in the past 2 weeks, that the connection is established and is able to qualify the contract, but no ticker data is feeding to get the price information at all. I've tried using TWS or API, neither of them will work.

I may not have this right, but I think there was a similar problem that surfaced recently that was solved by upgrading the TWS Gateway. So try upgrading your TWS weapon of choice and see if that helps. If not, sorry.
