I don't think Trump's supporters realized that "drain the swamp" was code for hire his entire family and many of his closest friends, adding in some "yes men and women" that would support him no matter how big the lie. He even had to fire many of the latter because they couldn't get it done.
Wanna bet? Nobody cares about this issue, Obama was accused of the same, how did that work out.
The funny part is you think any of this kind of material stands up when you are running against Trump one of the most dishonest likely corrupt politicians in history. It smells of desperation and people paid off to create a diversion ( US politics is famous for this; some guys even start a war to get elected ). I'm not going to bother with the video really don't care.
"Anybody but Trump" on the way to victory and Biden is smart enough to surround himself with younger capable people. Trump just wants obedient "yes" people to tell him how great his ideas are no matter how bad they are. Yes, Mr. Trump, Covid will certainly go away on it's own. Yes, Mr. Trump, we'll get rich off your tariffs, pay all our bills, and we can slash taxes as well. Yes, Mr. Trump, we don't need to trade with Canada they are surely ripping us off. And on and on and on ...
It's over in two weeks.

I think Trump is pretty effective at using Hunter Biden to deflect all of ethics violations. People paying attention see one compared to who knows how many on his side. However, the average person sitting down see corruption on both sides and might not vote at all as a result. I also think Trump might have won back some of the Republicans who held their nose and voted for him last time by showing he can act somewhat competent for 1.5 hours tonight.
What happened? What is alleged? What crimes were committed?
Conservatives are too caught up in inconsequential facts - nobody really gives a shit if Biden didn’t commit a crime. There is no crime here.
Maybe a bunch of lifer Republican voters can hold their nose and vote for this monstrosity of a man. I just think the female and minority blocks of voters are going to show up in force to turf Trump out. Lesson learned in 2016 nothing good has come out of 4 years of Trump for most of these people. Also remember the overall demographics are changing and the Republicans aren't keeping up. Trump has been horrible for many minority groups, and many young people care about the environment, social justice, gun violence, and women's rights.
I would never underestimate the potential for stupidity in a US election, but I think he's done.
