In regard to public posting of info about trades, it's been my prior practice never to post the amount of profit I've made, nor the size of the positions I take and I'm going to revert to that practice now, unless there's an objection from Damir, since it's his thread.
What I'll post is the number of points profit or loss on each trade based on a position of ONE CONTRACT for these futures or options, as I would based on one SHARE if it were a stock.
For example, today's trade would be posted as +.26 even if I traded more than one contract.
Is this okay as a protocol?

Personally, I'd like it if everyone did post the Size they traded because size is a very important aspect of trading, and that may not come forward if people don't post size. Plus, we can discuss any liquidity issues a certain vehicle may have; how to get best fills; what kind of slippage to expect. So, unless you're totally against posting Size, I would love to see what kind of size is going into every trade. I, myself, don't trade the same size for all setups. If it's higher probability, I trade larger size.

Good for you. I unloaded my TXN again, profitably this morning, but too soon. I think I'll buy it right back instead of waiting for it to drop, which it isn't. Not my best strategy based on history, so maybe I won't buy it back this fast.
I bought more DNDN and am debating whether to trade it off or trade some of it off, and hold some. It's going to be a while for this company, but it's such a nice story.
I accidentally sold my NTES today when I typed the wrong number and bought that right back at no cost. Boring, stupid.
Waiting for a new entry on YM but so far no luck. I have a lot to learn about this "patience" thing.
Are you associated with a brokerage firm? Sounds like there is one by that name if I'm reading posts here correctly.

There is a Futures broker here by the name FFastTrade but I am not associated with them. My account is with IB. I'm just in and out of positions quick, so the handle FastTrader seemed appropriate.

I think your reasons are good for wanting to know, but I think my reasons are better for not doing it. I'll still consider it if there's additional input, though.
Basically I just want to keep my financial situation confidential and revealing the size of the trades when I really get into this futures thing, would reveal information I would rather not post on a public forum.
Kap: I wish I could join you. I have a session scheduled at 4:15, but at 5:05 I'll probably open a bottle. Looks like I'll be celebrating this evening if things keep looking up.
