DAL, AAL, UAL, et alia - Data - Comparison to 9/11

Hey All,

Can anyone help me to get a chart going back 25 years on AAL, DAL, UAL... going back to around 1995?

I'm drawing an analogy between the CV fallout in the airline industry to that from 9/11/2001--when all planes were grounded. Does anyone have access to these data? Do these data exist in BB terminal? Anyone know where I can obtain these data/charts?

IB data only goes back to 2013; yahoo finance goes back to 2006. Bureau of Transportation Statistics only goes back to 2002.

I've Googled around, and the quote below suggests a 5-6 year recovery.

Thanks,
Keith

Directly following 2001, losses from operating costs of major carriers, also known as legacy network carriers, plummeted by an estimated $9.1 billion, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, while losses from 2001 until 2007 were estimated to total a whopping $40 billion. Profitability was not restored until 2007, and the sky-high oil prices in 2008, just before the Great Recession, only led to more trouble.

IB data goes back to 2007.
Though not sure you can go that far back due to bankruptcies, mergers and new IPOs, with some periods where shares were not being traded and later repriced.

(it went through merger: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/american-airlines-listed-nasdaq-154730066.html)

Delta went bankrupt in 2005 and later had a new IPO in may 2007.

Here's the charts of those stocks that I get from my data source Norgate Data which retains all of those delisted stocks.

American Airlines (AMR Corp) railled to pre 9/11 highs in late 2006 but still declared bankruptcy later. Amazingly shareholders actually received a payout.

Delta airlines never recovered from 9/11. Bankruptcy and zero return.

United Airlines (UAL Corp) never recovered from 9/11. Bankruptcy and zero return.

THANK YOU!

If they go back up. As far as I see, that will happen if they don't go bankrupt.
If we can find someone with a BB terminal and buy them a nice bottle of scotch, maybe they'll show us the the CDS curve on the big airlines.

The only place I've ever seen a Credit Default Swap pricing curve is on a BB terminal.
