Daily/weekly/monthly Reports on Market fundamentals

I am interested in getting research/reports indicating daily/weekly/monthly changes to market fundamentals. I know of a couple of firms which do this already, but they are limited to one or two sectors.
eg.
PVM reports for Energy.
Agresource for grains.

Also, they try and give you a technical analysis perspective as well as change in any market fundamentals.
I am not really interested in technical analysis, but in changing market fundamentals.

So i want-
Research which shows changing market fundamentals across different sectors like metals, grains,energy,equities,currencies,bonds,interest rates etc, basically anything tradeable on exchange.

Would be nice if it was provided by a single firm or source. Doing all of this work alone would be a lot for me.
Are there any sources like this ?

Some ideas:

CRB Fundamental Market Service (sometimes referred to as Futures Market Service). $20/mo. Daily email and weekly (late Thursday night) emailed report in pdf format. Subscription gives you access to their weekly archives going back at least half a dozen years. Covers about a dozen active commodities - grains, softs, livestock, energy, precious metals.

Hightower Report. The weekly letter is $25/mo but it's offered for free through various retail futures brokerages. OptionsXpress, for example gives you the weekly letter plus daily reports for each market sector and 2x or 3x day audio updates for each market sector. I *think* if you bought that direct from Hightower it would be $80/mo or more. Market coverage about the same as CRB.

AgriMoney. Free and not very much advertising. Grains and Softs.

FarmFutures. 2x daily reports that cover grains and livestock. There's also a weekly recap in pdf that includes a lot of charts. Free. Targeted to farmers so you're going to see a lot of John Deere and Monsanto ads while you're on their site but you can get the daily reports emailed to you and they're ad-free.

And from there it becomes more specialized and way more expensive. Example: Judy Ganes consulting has been covering the softs markets for a couple of decades. Her reports are $200-$250/mo per commodity.

RBN Energy and Natural Gas Intelligence, for example, have what I'd call entry level fundamental subscriptions. $75-$125/mo. Given the sector's size you can spend whatever your budget can handle all the way up to a fully loaded Platts or Argus subscription.

Have you ever read the Judy Ganes reports, what are they like.
I had subscriptions for PVM reports earlier, says about 250 USD/ month, but they do a great job, worth every cent.
There was simply a difference between the depth of the research. They had way more experienced people in Energy writing up those reports, compared to others

How can i get to know more about these specialised Reports/Research.
 
Yes. If your ever in Chicago, go to the CME library. It's a small collection. But, it gives you an idea what people in the industry read. See what the most dog eared collections are.

Also, check your broker's Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs) parent. Heck, do all the major FCM's. They probably have free research. There's only a handful of big players left. They are still incentivized to provide complimentary research with full service brokering like stockbroker's of yesteryear.
 
+1 for Agrimoney via RSS feeds. I got that from Brighton. My favored SME for Futures/Options.

That and my FCM reports is enough for my frequency of Futures trading which is more situational / seasonal.

A few more items from the top of my head:

You can get a flavor for the work by Ganes by Googling "ICE SOFTS FAST FACTS" - that should take you directly to the mid-month fundamental report she prepares for ICE customers. I haven't bought her reports, but I probably will give them a try a little later this summer when the frost season arrives in Brazil (coffee). She also does a couple of webinars a year for firms like ICE and Interactive Brokers. These are typically archived on the respective sites.

INTL FCSTONE has started a new service, called the Coffee Network, but I haven't checked it out.

Licht and Czarnikow are old-line brokers and researchers in tropical commodities.

I don't buy a lot of fundamental research anymore because Uncle Sam provides so much for "free" - grains, livestock and energy daily and monthly and 2x a year for coffee and sugar. Also, I'm a longer term trader so I don't need fine details on day to day prices or news.

In the softs, you can get monthly or quarterly big picture supply and demand stuff for free from the Intl Coffee Org and the Intl Cocoa Org. The Intl Sugar Org, for some reason, is extremely stingy, so if you want their info, try a subscription to www.sugaronline.com

And like Xandman said, check out the various FCMs and see what they offer their clients, free or discounted. RJO might be a good place to start.
