Do you think it is very difficult for Christians to love God?
I feel like you think God is harsh task master and that loving Him first require a lot of effort and discipline. Your version of what it means to be a Christian is reminding me of trading. If a trader messes up too badly, he or she is done for. The money is lost forever. The market does not forgive financial debts. Is this kind of how you think it is to be a Christian?
Like trading, you cannot put everyone into the same box, we're all different, making money different ways, how Johnny trades and makes money is not like how Jennifer can trade and make money.
How you view God and the bible is not like how I could.
Your interests and skills are different from mine.
Everywhere I look including myself, family and others, christianity doesn't bring the good results which I'd expect.
The way I see it, christianity makes lots of promises but the reality doesnt match the rhetoric.
Words are cheap.

Richard Wurmbrand is the real deal. Tortured Christians who have God help them through the time is where, IMHO, one can see that God is a real help, not an imaginary help, for the one who trusts in Him.

LOLOLOL....I just came across this post and it reminded me, in a small way of the trolls on my threads.

I am happy sharing about Jesus. You trolls are happy mocking my sharing. We are both happy.
:D

Do you see the similarity to this?

“It was strictly forbidden to preach to other prisoners. It was understood that whoever was caught doing this received a severe beating. A number of us decided to pay the price for the privilege of preaching, so we accepted their [the communists' ] terms. It was a deal; we preached and they beat us. We were happy preaching. They were happy beating us, so everyone was happy.”
