Christians love to believe that carnal humans and evolutionists are anti God, prolly because Christian HAVE TO HAVE an enemy, an adversary, a devil, some being to attack. Possibly this 'enemy' in christians lives are to cover up their own shortcomings and
inferiority complex and fear. Christians are like the USA gummint, always need to be at war!
@themickey You just love to believe a bunch of lies about Christians. Not sure what is prompting that. It seems an abnormal obsession to me!
Christians believe what they believe because God, who is the great I AM THAT I AM, a declaration that He is Who He is, has spoken to the prophets in ancient times and then through Jesus and then the apostles and revealed to them the truths that He wanted us to know.
We believe because God says it is so. It's not like we get to pick and choose what to believe. Some things that we believe we actually hate....like I hate cruelty and wickedness and the devastating effects they have. I love God for many reasons. One of those reasons is that He is against cruelty and wickedness and someday soon will do something about this problem on earth!
Anyhow, what evolutionists attempt to theorize about, is an alternative to the sop preached from the pulpit, ie, perhaps there's a different explanation to life. It's not because they want to hate on God, it's because they have inquiring minds rather than believe what's written in a jewish black book.
In years gone by, christians believed all insane people was possesed by demons, whereas the reality is the cause was disease or birth defect.
I don't think scientists believe in demons, but sure as hell,

100% of clever christians do.
"In years gone by, christians believed all insane people was possesed by demons, whereas the reality is the cause was disease or birth defect."
Perhaps some did, but I don't think all or even most did.
However, demonic possession is a real thing. I always wonder why people don't seem to realize that the demonic activity in this world just proves that the Bible is correct, there is a God, there are fallen angels, just as recorded in Scriptures.
I don't recommend trying to observe the demonic realm in order to obtain faith to believe in God as revealed in the Bible.
I have heard several first hand accounts of supernatural, really weird things happening.
One friend in particular was completely freaked out because she and her friends got a real response to a question asking where a lost item was. They didn't know the answer to the question, but the Ouija board answered it and the item was found. It shook them up so badly that my friend said she would never use it again.
Someone else I knew a while ago (not a Christian) believed her house was haunted because of all the strange things that would happen in the home in rooms that nobody was in. I didn't know the girl very well, but it was bothering her so much that she was talking about it to everyone around and I happened to be in a (non-Christian) group that she described it to. I can't verify that she wasn't making it up, but she was extremely upset about it and that part was obvious to everyone.
It's not like that's the first time any one has heard of a house being haunted. There are a few documented cases. They are kind of freaky and I avoid thinking about them, but the truth is, we are not alone in this planet. The Biblical explanation of God, fallen angels and good angels and people who now experience evil and live in a cursed world makes a lot of sense of what otherwise doesn't make any sense at all.
