It's P&R but not bs. It is correct. It is also correct that i played left defense in hockey long, long ago. I have been accused of being an apologist for the left, but I think that's not quite accurate. It would be truer to say I am a more harsh critic of the right than of the left. I find the Right horribly wrong about almost everything, whereas I find the Left only a little wrong about everything, and hopelessly wrong about only a few key issues.Hey Pie...
Are you a lawyer/judge or was that just some P&R bs that called you out as such?
This is totally not a baited question. I never knew this if this is in fact the case. Good on ya if so.
I think there's a couple lawyers that post here. Good writers at least if they're not.
I like lawyers lol...
Gotta say....."If I could do it all again".....
I am most definitely not a lawyer, I am a scientist by training and vocation. I had a long career in science. My job in science, as I advanced to a position of managing research, became more a position in which the bulk of my time was spent reading and writing. I regretted, later in my career, not being able to spend as much time in the laboratory as I would have liked.
It is hard to break old habits. Once a serious student in any field, one finds learning has become a habit. It's not possible to shut of curiosity once it becomes ingrained. I have used my time since retirement to study law and economics, two subjects I did not have time for during my career in science. In one of these disciplines, economics, I was fortunate to have a mentor who is a well-known economist in his field and a best friend. In the other field, law, I have our own jem to guide me. Jem studied law somewhere and must have had at least a brief career, although seemingly vainglorious based on abilities evident here. I have found reading the Supreme Court opinions in various contentious cases to be highly instructive. I can recommend this pastime for anyone interested, or pretending to be interested, in law.
