I am not wrong, the Colts won on the road when necessary...ask the Ravens.
I would never compare either the colts or the bears to multiple Super Bowl winners, when neither team has won a Super Bowl...
Yes, the colts franchise and the bears franchise have won championships long ago, but neither of these teams have won anything of real value yet beyond a ticket to a championship game. One team will be a Super Bowl winner, the other a Super Bowl winner, and both can claim they had very good seasons...but neither team can make any claim to be a great team yet, if we define greatness as something that extends beyond a single championship within a few year time frame.
The Packers multiple championships with the same basic players, Steelers, Niners, Cowboys, Giants, Broncos, Patriots, etc. were great teams...but it is quite premature to say that either of these teams have achieved that status. History will show, and neither team yet has won a Super Bowl, or multiple Super Bowls.
Both of these teams could end up being one and done...
You are the classic example of a fan
atic...
"...it is not acceptable for a team that goes to the Superbowl to be a .500 road team, no matter who they play."
Are you insane? Not acceptable?
Oh man, you are a nutcase...
"I can't think of a quality championship team in any sport that plays only .500 ball on the road."
Man you don't even understand sports with a dumbass comment like that.
Quality championship team? Winning the championship is quality you idiot.
Hockey, baseball, etc., etc., etc.
That's why they play the game, look at the St. Louis Cardinals record from last year, they were barely a .500 team..
They had a 34-47 road record you hack.
Were they a great team? If they win it all this year they will begin to get that designation. Did they have a great championship run? You betcha. They are champs, and no one else won the World Series last year.
What a sports dimwit, what a dope...Geez, now it all makes perfect sense...you are a "da bears" fan, that explain the pure stupidity...
Quote from Maverick74:
Bullshit, it is not acceptable for a team that goes to the Superbowl to be a .500 road team, no matter who they play. Tell me Mr. Z, were the Cowboys and Packers of the 90's .500 teams on the road? What about the niners in the 80's? The Steelers in the 70's? You are so full of it. I can't think of a quality championship team in any sport that plays only .500 ball on the road. Just admit that you are wrong.
