Da Bears!

Just one last question Mav. Why is it that when the bears got waxed by the fish this year, you vanished from this thread like a long shadow at noon, only to return after the bears had won again?

The colts cannot play on the road?

LOL!

Please tell that to the Ravens, the Giants, the Jets, the Broncos, and the Patriots...

Typical dumbass "da bears" fan...

I am not into predicting games or betting on them, but really mav, a lot of what you you say is just plain stupid...

If you go by the BCS system and strength of schedule, da bears might not have even made the friggin playoffs...

Quote from Maverick74:

Oh man, where do I begin here. OK, you want to compare performance, let's compare performance.

The Colts beat the Giants by 5 who the Bears annihilated.

The Colts squeaked by the Jets who the Bears beat a little better.

They beat the Titans by 1 and then lost to them on the road.

They beat Buffalo by 1 who the Bears killed.

They got got lit up like a Christmas tree against Jacksonville.

They lose to Houston on the road.

And they squeak by Miami who the Bears lost to. The same Miami team that beat the Patriots.

Come on Pabst, once again your argument lacks substance.

The Colts had about as unimpressive a year as one can have and still go to the Superbowl. Let me remind you that the Colts almost didn't even win their division. They lost 4 of their last 7 games.

You are going to need to do better then that Pabst. The bottom line is the Colts cannot play on the road. Look at Manning's numbers this year on his road games. Outside the dome they are ineffective.

Pabst you seem to forget that I'm from St.Louis and we had a team there called the St. Louis Rams who to this day had the greatest offensive attack in the history of the NFL in 1999. They smashed every record in the books between 1999 and 2004. They were a dome team Pabst as well. And once they were out of the dome, they simply were not that effective. They were very beatable despite having the highest rated quarterback in NFL history, Kurt Warner. And a little guy named Marshall Faulk, you may have heard of him. So I know a little bit about high powered offenses and dome teams. And when you get those fast, speedy, high powered, deep throwing offenses out of the dome and against a good defense, they lose 8 out of 10 times.

Pabst, the only dome team to ever win a superbowl was the 1999 St. Louis Rams and they played that Superbowl in a dome!!!!!

There is a reason why dome teams never win the superbowl. If this game were played in Indy, I would give the edge to the Colts. But no f*cking way outdoors on a grass field with the lousy numbers Peyton has put up on the road this season. No f*cking way. The Colts team this year is about as bad a road team I think we have ever seen in the history of the Superbowl. Nuff said.

I did not disappear, I came on here and said the Bears played like shit and left it at that. And yeah, the Colts beat those teams on the road....barely. They squeaked by all of them. I would hardly call those good performances by the Colts.

Zzz, you know, you can call my comments stupid but you have not provided anything of substance to your argument outside of ad hominem attacks. So typical. Attack the messenger, not the argument. Why don't you back up your arguments with facts? Nevermind....

I'm sorry guys, this is off topic, but I just have to say...

EVEN IN HERE, Z??

Even in here you're a disgusting lying little troll who can't post anything but insults and evasions and assertions??? Even in here you are hated by people on both sides of the argument?

This is beyond pathetic. If you were an animal we'd have to put you down.

This is what gets the little fag off. He spanks his little willy with one hand and trolls the internet with the other.

ZZZZZZ = Spanking Troll

You said "the Colts can't win on the road" so I posted evidence, facts of road wins against may of the best teams in the NFL this year by the Colts...that destroyed your claim that they can't win on the road...the result is proof that your statement was flat out wrong.

Does that mean that your incorrect comment saying that they can't win on the road was smart?

LOL!

Zzz, it is a generally accepted principle that if a team does not have a winning record on the road, they often are referred to as not being able to win on the road. It does not mean they are literally 0-8. Have you ever had a sports conversation with a real person in real life? You can't be this dense.

It is generally acceptable that when a team beats the better teams in the league on the road, and loses games to lesser teams, that they can win on the road, but at times they don't take the lesser teams as seriously.

This happens all the time for the better teams to take the day off when playing the lower status teams.

The Colts showed that they can, and do win on the road beating the best teams in the strongest division of the NFL, so your comments were flat out wrong...

Really mav, when you talk sports, you sound like a 12 year old...

Bullshit, it is not acceptable for a team that goes to the Superbowl to be a .500 road team, no matter who they play. Tell me Mr. Z, were the Cowboys and Packers of the 90's .500 teams on the road? What about the niners in the 80's? The Steelers in the 70's? You are so full of it. I can't think of a quality championship team in any sport that plays only .500 ball on the road. Just admit that you are wrong.

Zzzzz just for the record.... Mav is correct ; a losing record is being under .500 not going winless. Although it will not change the fact that the COLTS will win and i have $100.00 against mav str8t up that they will win.... all the bookies have them at -7 mav somehow thinks he knows better...so put up or shut up already... $100.00 even steven...take it or admit that the better team is the colts...if you dont admit it then i am assuming we have a bet...:D

p.s. mav on the road usually means in the home of the opposing team..which is not the case here....so ur argument really doesnt seem to matter.... the crowds may be screaming more for the colts than the bears which would make it home field advantage
