Cyprus - taxes on full time trading?

From what I've found it's not 0% but 2.65% (GHS/healthcare) even if you opt for private healthcare. Some sources claim you also need to pay social insurance but most suggest you don't.

It does apply to futures and options as well but not to crypto and forex.

Thank you for your info. About the healthcare system tax, I was told you only need to pay it after 17 years of residing in Cyprus. Same for the defense tax, which is levied from dividends at 17% - you only need to pay it after 17 years residing in Cyprus.

There's domiciled and non-domiciled. GHS/GESY is always payable on income. After 17 years in Cyprus you will become domiciled if you're not already. Defense tax is payable only for domiciled people.

Cyprus tax advisors vary greatly in information but I'm quite sure GESY will be payable.
