Last night I bought the thunderbolt version of the curved LG 34 inch monitor mentioned earlier in this thread from Amazon. I will update with some feedback once it gets here.

Looks more like the desk of a preeminent 20th century novelist. Very nice though. The matte finish would be very welcomed for me as well. Do you find the curve to be more aesthetic or is it actually value added? My thought just from a trading perspective is that--at this red hot second--all I'm doing is writing code. Someday I'll probably watch some ladders too. Do you see the curve conferring value for these applications even though I'm not doing anything full screen like gaming or editing or something where bezels obviously get in the way?I like this 34" LG monitor a lot. The curve is subtle but welcomed, and the screen has a matte finish, which is a nice departure from the glossy Apple monitor I used to have. The most natural setup seems to divide the screen into thirds. With your number one app right in the middle flanked by your second and third most used apps on the sides.
