Curved 34" monitor

I saw one of those curved TV's in the store recently -- it looks so much more dramatic online...in person, the curvature is kind of rather very subtle.
...in a very short amount of time, you'll forget it's even curved. :)
 
Just installed 6 of the AOC 34" widescreens (not curved) and am very happy. Used a Vision Tek graphics card (about $250) but the AMD Firepro 4100 is probably a better option but you need two of them. Running at 3440x1800.

3 large charts per screen, 3 markets followed, Cable, Euro and EUR-AUD. Yes, that's only 3 but I like to look at the reverse crosses as well so USD-GBP etc. The reverse charts appear on the screens above so 3 screens on the bottom and 3 above. Also bought a sit/stand electric desk so I can stand up for half the day especially inthe mornings.

The free (or paid) monitor management software Display Fusion is great for setting the monitors up and getting the mouse to move easily between them.

I used to have 2 screens but found I was losing concentration having to flick between the different markets. Now I have all my charts right in front of me all the time.
 
@nitro, it looks like the primary difference between the two is that the more expensive one has the latest high speed connectivity options like Thunderbolt 2 and USB 3.0.
 
I'm pretty sure its to do with picture quality. Especially with that price difference. Just like when you go to a electronics store and there are TV's the same size, 1 worth $800 and another worth $4000

Some years ago, when I was a real fool, I had 12 17 " monitors set up, and now, I have an 11" hd win 10 laptop / tablet combined, which is handy as I can pop out screen if I am going off for a good bit, and don't want to rely on mobile phone.

I did buy 10 dell 19" dvi seconhand sceens with swivel stands a few years ago, and will prob use 4 in near future for daytrading. The 12 cost me bout 300 euro..brilliant screens.

Ah gotcha. Does it make a difference in quality of what you see?
