You can do many things these days and prosper in big media. You can mock Christians, republicans, particularly Trump, entire states, etc. You can abuse drugs, you can be known as the dirtiest player in pro football, you can incite riots over made-up allegations and get innocent people killed.

What you absolutely cannot do however is object to grown men using the ladies room with your daughter. This is particularly so if you are a republican and already have a black mark on your record for suggesting that radical muslims resemble Nazis. I think we all knew that it was totally out of bounds to suggest that muslims are anything but peaceful, kind, wonderful people of whom we desperately want more in this country. But now it is a firing offense to not want your little girl to be exposed to grown male perverts relieving themselves? Apparently so.

ESPN, whose audience of course is largely gay activists and social justice warriors, released a statement about what an inclusive company they were. I guess that inclusiveness only extends to some ideas however. They seemed a bit confused about the concept that an employee might be entitled to his own opinions on matters of public interest. I can understand their confusion however, since the concept of men using ladies restrooms has been a core value of our country for about the past 15 minutes. The other 275 years, it would get you thrown in jail and probably a well-deserved butt-kicking. So clearly, Shilling's odious attachment to outmoded ideas about "men" and "women" made him toxic to the progressives running ESPN.

And yet you support a candidate who thinks a guy pretending to a women should be allowed to use the womens bathroom. Isn't that special.

If I were the governor I would tell them to take the game and shove it. Somehow I think the state will get by just fine without the influx of rap trash and other garbage that it attracts.

In fact, while they're at it, maybe take the Charlotte team and move them too. That way the taxpayers will not get extorted to provide more corporate welfare for them.

Maybe what we need is legislation which mandates there also be "its" bathrooms along with "men's" and "women's". In an "its" bathroom, you should expect to see anything and everything.... and that would be your choice.

Of course perverted men would like to go into the "little girl's room" and get a thrill from exposing themselves. Does it work the other way? Do women want to invade the men's room (with all the piss and fart smells) to flash their gash?

The issue with HB2 (House Bill 2) in North Carolina is that over 90% of the amended bill has nothing to do with bathrooms. In fact bathrooms are only addressed in the first two pages. The majority of the bill restricts cities/town from enacting ordinances (so much for small government), not allowing local minimum wage increases, rolling back employment & contracting laws, not allowing state courts to be used to file civil rights lawsuits, not allowing employment discrimination suits, taking control of regional boards for airports, water plants, etc. away from local boards, and dozens of other items restricting local governments.

Every pipe dream of rural bible-belt conservative Republicans was thrown into a bill that was passed in a 24 hour long special legislative session this summer. The restrictions in the bill roll-back civil and employment rights in our state 100 years.

Anyone who reads the actual HB2 bill should be offended. It is a disaster for our state.

In fact the one item in the bill that a slim majority in our state may support are the bathroom provisions. Strangely enough the media has focused on the bathroom debate while ignoring the host of other malicious items in HB2.
