Current Margin Requirements in IBIE

I trade often the micro-future MES which has a margin requirement, generally less than $1000; this is in IBUK. I've just checked my account, which was moved from IBUK to IBIE, and I'm seeing that more than $3000 for just 1 MES contract. This doesn't make sense at all, when all are the same group.

Any IB representative that could address this?

You should probably talk to IB Support, no?

Also sometimes they raise margin around volatile time periods; inauguration may have been possible.

After closing futures position and despite just having cash and some bought calls, I've realized that there's in my account, some current initial margin that it shouldn't be because I don't have any position that requires margin. So, I'm communicating with support to set it right.
