Currency vs. Index Futures

Hello,

to anyone who has had experience with both trading Currency Futures such as the Euro and Index futures such as ES and YM, what are the advantages and disadvantages of Currency Futures compared to Index Futures?

I would compare currency futures to forex, not the indices.

The big difference is liquidity. The volume on the ES is huge.
