Yes, except malice and stupidity are not the only two motives-explanations to choose from. Greed and pursuit of fame are very much in the equation.

As I discussed the other day, at the very exact time he was running the death camps for seniors and was covering up the data , he had before him the 800K advance from the book publisher, for his book about how he was a saint and a covid hero and presidential material, and a love object of dems. To reveal that data would have screwed up his book deal majorly and jeopardized his path to being beatified by the Pope.

I notice that Gilibrand is starting to be forced into hemming and hawing on the issue. The usual "let the process work" and "all women should at least have a chance to be heard" type of shtick.

The point remans though: They were both elected to be at the very tip of the spear on the MeToo issues. Not to be the last ones in town to be forced into commenting as though they are hostages Syria being videotaped or something.

I wonder if the Cuomo Brothers Comedy Team is/are having hearty laugh over this as they did during the peak of the Cuomo Death Camps for Seniors era. Probably not.

I am okay letting New York handle things now that Cuomo is no longer going to hold national office.

Having said that, though, I will say that I do think this move for the state assembly to initiate and conduct and investigation is highly appropriate. This bullshit of Cuomo saying that he has appointed someone/the AG to investigate him is just that- bullshit. An impeachment or the investigation to determine if it is necessary is properly under the jurisdiction of the legislative branch- not the governor or the AG. They can direct or request the AG to conduct some parts of it or they can do it themselves or they can appoint outside investigators. Their call. Not Governor Mengele's.

This is weird. I can see TonySnarks quotes when I reply to him on a different browser that is not logged in, but when I look at the reply with a logged in browser, I can not see the quote from TonySnark in the reply. WTF
