I was checking the 10-Q of $CUK.

I found this statement :

At June 14, 2019, Carnival plc had outstanding 189,386,190 Ordinary Shares $1.66 par value, one Special Voting Share, GBP 1.00 par value and 527,000,548 Trust Shares of beneficial interest in the P&O Princess Special Voting Trust.

can someone help me to understand what does this mean ? what is par value and other stuff.

Easiest way is just to go to the income statement of the last 8K and look down at the bottom. (below)
That's the figure used for all eps calculations. In this case 693 million shares.
