That does not seem smart. BTC has had many attacks by countries including Europe for its ban, while ETH gets free passes because of the continual upgrading.

You do realize that most the early car manufacturers are long bust... early investors thought they'd have a permanent gold-mine because carriages were obsoleting.
 
Another big one that's going to put stress. BlockFi is like Celsius, they have a lot of crypto assets deposited to them, Btc, Eth, etc

Babel Finance is also in trouble. Another crypto borrow/lend platform

There's evidence on the blockchain that Bitcoin miners are depositing their coins on exchanges, possibly to sell to pay for debts since credit markets are difficult at the moment

dont care if you bought BTC for 1 cent. Fraud is fraud .

You’re a day early. I’ve always thought of Father’s Day as cheesy. Mother’s Day? Absolutely, more justified than Christmas and Easter combined. Moms don’t get enough credit.

But it’s always good to go out for a nice dinner and celebrate. I try to do it often.

What kind of cuisine are you having? I went to a Korean BBQ yesterday evening.

Agree with you, Mother's day is the best!! I've been remembering some of the good stuff my mom did, alas, took them for granted and never got to thank her for most of them... we had a nice celebration for my wife on Mother's day, Din Tai Fung, her choice

I had Korean BBQ a few days ago, galbi and yuki jang and a large Sapporo on a frosted chilled mug, it was great

I like the setup you have there where you cook yourself, but the smell gets stuck on the clothes and then bring that to the car, then to your home, but the food taste great!!

We're planning to go to shabu-shabu tonight, we called to make reservation but no dice, so just gotta be there early, it's not too many of us...

Yes, I know the feeling. Not a week goes by without thinking about mom. She went too soon unfortunately.

The KB smell in the clothes and hair is the price you pay for the great taste of barbecuing at the table. That’s why we go out for Korean BBQ. Bad idea to do it indoors at home. LOL

Coincidentally I had shabu shabu at my mentee’s home three weeks ago. Shabu shabu is great at home. Very relaxed and unhurried.

The past few months, it's been every day for me thinking about my mom, due to reminders brought about of health issues and death on my mom's side of the family. I'm sorry about your mom... My mom also passed way too soon, have a lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda stuff I'd have done and given to her now that I'm able to...

It goes up and down in price...What price? This is the argument I have had all the time about cryptos in general. Their value is based on fiat. You cannot price a Crypto in anything other than a fiat currency, because a crypto has no fundamental value.

Y'all keep talking about cryptos like BTC falling to levels like $30K, 20K, 10K. What are the Ks? UNITED STATES DOLLARS.

If the USD went away RIGHT NOW, what would 1 BTC be worth? It would be worth 1 BTC. But since nothing is priced in BTC, you would have to look to an alternate, like the Euro.

Without the USD, what is a Euro worth? 1 Euro is worth 1 Euro. Without a comparison to the USD, how many Euros is 1 BTC worth?

Simply, there is no absolute value with any currency. In our world, it must be compared to something else. A crypto like BTC is no different. It must be valued as compared to some other currency for it to have any meaning. It cannot stand as a store of it's own value. It can only stand as a store of another currency's value.

If ALL fiat went away tomorrow. what would 1 BTC be worth? It would be worth 1 BTC. Would that buy you a car? We'll never know the answer to that question until all fiat goes away.
