Thanks. So I see on 3omb that they offering greater yield if one moves their 2omb/FTM spLP tokens there.
I'm not understanding why the same dev would fork twice.
Do all three (Tomb,2omb,3omb, etc) work together synergistically?
How do the Tomb folks view these forks?
It's supply and demand. No one is advising to move LP tokens from 2Omb to 3Omb and vice versa, it's basically a risk/reward personal calculation
The reason for this is that the rewards are 2Shares on the 2Omb farms and 3Shares on the 3Omb farms
So, if you're a 2Share maxi, you want to get your rewards on 2Shares
If you're a profit maxi, you want the highest rewards that you'd sell immediately
If you're a 2Share maxi with big brain profit stacking mentality, you'd move your farm on 3Omb and sell the 3Shares rewards for 2Shares
There was only 1 fork 2Omb which was successful, but as documented on AMA's and roadmaps and diagrams, they are implemented phase 2, 3 4 and so forth
The 3Omb is to increase the capacity of the 2Omb protocol and to support the 2Omb peg while also making sure that 3Omb is above peg
I would push you to the docs and recorded AMA's and diagrams as I've seen you with your convo with tifoli that you are very detailed oriented and reads a lot
I'm too lazy to do that much reading or as I justify it to myself, I focus my time on other stuff like monitoring to make sure that the price and yields and portfolio valuations and bitcoin and crypto news
No, Tomb and all the Tomb forks are independent. It's a good thought though if a few Tomb forks achieve a stable above peg and function as FTM proxies in the Fantom network ecosystem
Many Tomb forks fail after a short time. Only 2Omb is the successful one so far. Even more successful than papa Tomb
Tomb folks hate 2Omb, but many are moving to 2Omb for many reasons the most important of which is that 2Omb has been above peg as well as the 3Omb now
