Top traders will split a prize pool of $6000+:

  • 3rd place % profits: 750
  • 4th place % profits: $500
  • 5th place % profits: $300

How it Works:
  1. Join the competition through this link, and create an account (if you don’t have one already)
  2. On May 9, start trading - your performance is based on % gained in the end regardless of your portfolio value
It’s completely FREE to join, no deposit required. We just want to test our exchange.

Hi Jim,

A couple of questions;

1)Where are your exchange servers located?
2)How do you calculate the spot price of BTC?
a) In house
b) If third party, where are their servers?
3) What is your commission and fee schedule? Transaction fees for moving funds on/off exchange?
4) How do you account for daily volatility of collateral?
5) Do you offer an api for algorithmic trading?
6) How do you handle clearing and settlement?

Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for your questions.

Some answers:
1) Japan
2) Information about our pricing is here: https://support.emx.com/hc/en-us/sections/360003892794-Auctions-and-Market-Design
3) Fees and schedule here: https://support.emx.com/hc/en-us/sections/360003934653-Fees
4) Can you clarify what you mean by "account for" - We're treating BTC as another currency, like EUR, JPY. We value BTC in real time, so any fluctuations in its price will affect your collateral, in USD terms. This is the same as if someone uses EUR to collateralize a position with the CME for example.
5) Yes, our API docs are here: https://docs.emx.com and github here, includes python and node libraries: https://github.com/evermarkets
6) We are completely centralized. We use Bitgo as a custodial solution.

Do you trade BTC futures mainly?

Thank you. Your links have answered all my questions.
No I do not trade BTC futures at the moment, mainly ES. The start of the year was the beginning of my deep dive into crypto.

Good to know- we'll definitely offer ES on our platform in the future. Let me know what you think of our testnet if you give it a try.

I'm looking at your platform. Is there any way to customize the interface? ie. Resize windows, add/delete modules such as having multiple chart timeframes on the same browser window of same instrument/of different instruments. Are multiple browser windows supported?

You can resize the windows, simply click the edges. You can have multiple browser windows open.

Deleting and editing widgets & modules will be added later. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
