One thing that has impressed me lately is the ability to very effectively balance and hedge a "portfolio" entirely within the crypto universe.

Everything I own is volatile but the "spot" value of my holdings varies very little. It has proven to be pretty easy to hedge BTC with alts, so far anyway.
