1. The system was secure 5 years ago with 1/1000th of the current energy waste.
2. There are other, better cryptos just as secure with millionth of the energy waste. (agree?)
3. Pretty bad technology if they need this much energy to be secure (agree?)

for bitcoin to be worth more than 40k, it specifically needs to be explained to many especially those who are not really interested in learning. Otherwise it will not get widespread adoption.
