Its true, GBTC performs very similar to TQQQ. I'm not sure why though. Today Bitcoin has done a lot better than TQQQ, so far.
Crypto strategy: 1) Buy BTC and ETH, 2) Move to personal wallet, 3) Lock your private key in a safe, 4) Ignore it for a decade.
For now it is, but just wait when the Fed makes our dollars worthless.
That's... a problem. Most cryptos don't last a decade. I can name a never ending list of past popular stuff like OneCoin and others that despite the massive hype, are long gone and never to return.
The last 2 days have seen a huge stop-run along with masses of chart players jumping on the "breakout" above the Feb highs - one of the most widely anticipated market movements I've seen in a long time, at the very least since silver in early 2021.
It's normally not +EV to bet on a bear market rally into poor fundamentals (falling liquidity is terrible for ultra-spec assets like crypto) featuring a chart pattern watched by the entire world. But then, I don't have a crystal ball and markets can surprise us.
