Oh dear, the National Enquirer has come out with a story claiming evidence of multiple sexual trysts by presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz.

Worse yet for the Cruz camp, the framework within the article is structurally very concerning.

The National Enquirer is indeed a tabloid – and as such there are various grains of salt that should be applied when reviewing anything they present.

However, that said, they have been unfortunately accurate for more than a few presidential hopefuls: Gary Hart, Jesse Jackson and John Edwards to name a few of the more infamous examples.

A Hooker, a Teacher, and Co-Workers. Three of the five women have been identified. It appears the "Gangbang of 5" will be the end of Cruz's presidential aspirations.
 
I suggest everyone read the article cited in the OP. This seems clearly to have been an open secret for months. Cruz is finished for sure.

Apparently there was a lot of pressure to publish this by Rubio supporters, but when Rubio dropped out, a lot of his people switched over to Cruz and then they wanted it buried.

Three of the five women named in the NE story have already been outed. One, Amanda Carpenter, is a well-known conservative firebrand and Trump Derangement sufferer.

The only thing that would have made this better is if Megyn Kelly had been on the list.

An interesting sidelight is the fact that a Cruz PAC contributed $500,000 to Carly's PAC. It was unusual enough to warrant a letter from the FEC requesting an explanation.
 
wow... that is really sad. whether he won the nomination this time or not.
this is going to hurt. the guy was a representative of smart real conservative thought. Not the the smart neocon crap that goes along with the establishment but looks good on t.v. old guys... but real conservatives...

Jeb Bush even endorsed him ,
now he would be kicking himself for quitting so early.

Can't even begin to imagine how pissed off (When i'm President) Rubio must be at Cruz for spoiling his chance.

Cruz IS a neocon.
 
I know - that was the fear for some of us, a neocon in conservative clothing...
His wife worked for Goldman and he was on the bush campaign...
but... I look at actions and deeds far more than words.

His deeds were strongly anti obamacare and anti establishment...
his trade ideas to create jobs were what I have been advocating.

It's funny, because I couldn't care less if he likes to fuck around. I'm only concerned with his policies and principles that would have a material impact on me (with family and business in the US). In fact, if he can leverage his ambition and power into getting himself, with that awful slit for a mouth, laid, then I don't blame him a bit.

If any of it is true, of course.
