Crude spiked to $68 briefly AH

A bit like Hitler testing the weakness of the League of Nations in the 30s?

Bush violated the principle of Art of War grossly when he rushes into Iraq as Sun Tze says 'the war is best won without fighting'. He should've studied harder in Yale.

Yeah right, a couple of idiots got raped by trading in the thin after hours trading and got filled at 68 by some greedy market makers right before it came back to the median price. Don't make this more than it is.

Are you saying that Marketmakers trade after hours?

Erratic trading tonight.

Volatility across all markets recently.

YM futures AH drops 48 points now. Asian markets all drop big. Pretty weird, sth is happening.

I think market came to realize how fragile all this gains have been. I'm looking at the daily charts and SPX failed several times trying to get to 1440. I see a drop here but probably not down to the level where we were a few weeks ago.

Still too much bearish sentiments out there.

ECN's, ok. Let's not argue over semantics. But seriously, the volume is so thin there. If it was a big deal, we wouldn't have come back down so fast. It was a fake report anyway about missiles.

Report or no, last night was more active than it has been in months, all through the night.

Something is afoot.

It is illegal for MMs to trade through ECNs after hours. It is not a question of semantics. You said somebody got ripped by a MM after hours and later qualified it by implying that the MM traded through an ECN. A MM trading through an ECN after hours is illegal as per the SEC.
