I have a intraday breakout system. With Crude Oil futures I run it from the open and wait for a break out . Until end 2005 breakouts often took place from the open.
I noticed that since 01/01/2006, the market does not seem to find its direction for an hour or two. Has something structurally changed at that point? Time of news etc?
