for the deflation crowd.
When the sugar rush wears off, reality bites.
And the inflation comes in waves.
Just like rallies in the stock marker.
(gives the pundits on CNBC time to say "Yeah, we knew about that too"),
as they try to stay relevant.

A very simple action item.

USD, more complicated.
Right now USD is important: "Reserve Currency".
High USD should cap oil prices.
China is now buying oil without USD.
A new paradigm, new hegemony.

no, it will top at 80-82 range then come down again. selling cl puts are profitable trades as always.

The Saudi fields were developed by the original ARAMCO (Rockefeller companies).
When ARAMCO developed it (1930s), the Saudis thought they were nuts.
Just a bunch of sand.
But when the Saudis saw how much money was coming out of the ground,
they begged Pres.Harry Truman to reconsider the arrangement.
When people do it, it's called stealing.
When sovereign governments do it it's called "nationalizing"
Much prettier term. Imagery with marching bands.
Bottom line, very little continuity in governmental policy.

oil companies made lot of money for developing for sure, but the oil is not their. but to talk about 200 bucks oil is in no one’s interest. my trade is to ladder put selling, given cme leverage, it has been profitable for decades.

If you are selling naked puts, that's in the margin account. Correct?

Too bad its so far off \all time highs LOL;
and has gone negative price.
Not that its Arabia's or XOM's or CVX's fault .
I'm looking @ that price , prices ,even more than an election year cheap gas
